Revival Fire Ministries is the ministry of Roger and Shireen West. Based in Nairobi Kenya they are

committed to preaching the Gospel to the Nations of Africa. In the Last six years RFM has conducted a total of 36 Gospel Crusades and preached the Gospel to approximately 1.311,100 people. The response to the Gospel has been an overwhelming 547,600 estimated decisions for Jesus. Heaven is richer and Hell is poorer.

We continue to support Revival Fire Ministries who hold 6 or 8 Crusades each year within the Nations of Africa. Preparations are well underway for a mighty harvest time in Kivu province DRC.  

We begin 4 city wide Gospel crusades.

 

• 17th June – 26th June 2011 Bukavu DRC FUNU.

• 27th July – 31st July 2011 Bukavu DRC PANZI

• 3rd -7th Aug 2011 OICHA DRC

• 24th -28th Aug 2011  Butembo DRC

 

Planning and preparation. Shireen left early this morning 19th of May to begin an intensive time of intercession and planning. She will join up with Charlene Harris who now lives in Bukavu. Together Charlene and Shireen will preach over 30 times running up to the first meeting inspiring and challenging the church as well as mobilising intercession for these meetings. They will also make use of the local FM radio station to broadcast a series of messages.

First event Funu Bukavu. For the first gospel crusade in Funu we have two large teams one from Nairobi lighthouse church and one from Imagine Nations church Sydney Australia. The outreaches will include Ministry to the local prison where gift packs will be given to each prisoner and a meal provided as well as the gospel presented. The prison has over 1000 inmates. Panzi hospital has treated hundreds and hundreds of rape victims; we will reach out to these hurting woman and also about 50 children products of the rape, presenting each one with the gift pack containing daily necessities, milk powder, rice, beans, maize meal, and soap.  Pauline runs AESDI a crèche caring and providing a safe environment for these children while their mothers work all day at their small businesses in the local market.   We will also supply a water filtration system that the mothers can collect clean drinking water when they collect their children.

Visiting teams. The guests from Nairobi lighthouse church Nairobi and Imagine Nations Church Australia will be involved in pre-crusade events. Mini Crusades in markets and ministry in the local schools.

Reaching the leaders. The week of meetings also includes an intensive time for the city's leadership where Roger, Pastor Don Matheny and Pastor Jack Haynes will Minister to the leaders.

Our technical team are doing the final packing this week and leave for a 10 day journey starting on 1 June please do remember them in prayer.

The evening meetings. Bukavu is a city overflowing with more than 1 million people. This is one of the reasons we plan two citywide events. Each night I will proclaim a clear simple gospel message. We believe for a mighty move of God where multitudes will turn to Jesus Christ with all of their hearts. One of the evenings will be dedicated to preaching on the Holy Spirit. Join us in praying for a mighty outpouring of God’s spirit on the people of Bukavu. Each night we will pray for the thousands and thousands of sick and suffering people.

Prayer needs. Please remember Shireen that the Lord would give her strength health and ability beyond her own. Safety for our technical team and favour with each border crossing. For God's provision for the final two Crusades. But most of all for the hearts of the people to be open to receive the gospel of the kingdom.
